What’s Happening?

Sandon Sandon and Burston Parish Council is celebrating its centenary with a Beating the Bounds day on Saturday, September 10. Local residents are invited to meet at Sandon Village Club for a 10 mile parish boundary walk at 10 a.m. There are two points where less hearty parishioners can join or leave the walk. And there will be a Centenary Barn Dance with a hog roast and supper at Sandon Village Club in the evening. Geoff Payne and Dry Stone Wall will be providing the entertainment at the event with starts at 7.30p.m. Tickets are £4 and can be obtained by ringing parish clerk Keith Farr on (0889) 508554.
