SANDON VILLAGE CLUB

A whist drive and dance was held on Tuesday for the benefit of the Sandon Hall Auxiliary Hospital. Miss Bullock (commandant) presented the whist prizes to: Ladies, Miss Hazelhurst, Miss E. Elwood, Mrs. Shardlow, Mrs. Haynes, Miss D. Alcock; gentlemen, Messrs. J.T. Williams, J.F. Tansley, J. Hodson, T.S. Tavenor, T. Newson. Mr. Cadman was M.C. for whist and Mr. C Lever for the dance, and Mr. T. Bagot’s band provided the music. The ladies connected with the Hospital served refreshments. The committee wish to thank the donors of refreshments and prizes.
