A Sandon man has left £5,472 to be spent looking after animals in his will published this week. Reginald Lindop, of Hilderstone Road, who died in October last year, left the cash to be divided equally between the National Society fo rthe Abolition of Cruel Sports and the RSPCA.

He left £9,035 gross, £8,822 net, of which £600 is to go to Sandon Church and £2,750 with effects to personal legatees.
