Chorale concert

ALL Saints’ Church, Sandon, will be hosting the next concert by Keele Chorale on Sunday. The 20-strong choir, based at Keele University, give regular concerts of mostly unaccompanied music dating from the Renaissance period to the 20th century.

Sunday’s 3pm concert will include work spanning 400 years, including pieces by Byrd, Lassus and Tippett, together with a collection of well-known madrigals. A group of recorder players will join them for the concert.

Tickets for the event, which include mulled wine and mince pies, are available on Stone 814305.
