Sandon Legion Officers

At the annual meeting of the Sandon and district British Legion, held at the Village Club last week, it was reported that finances were in a healthy state, due mainly to the successful fete held in the summer.

The following officers were elected: president, Viscount Sandon; chairman, Mr. C.R. Maddock; secretary, Mr. R.W. Lindop; treasurer, Mr. T.R.C. Ash.

On Sunday there will be the usual ceremony at the village memorial followed by a shortened service at Sandon Church.
