Funeral of Colonel Jerrett

The funeral took place at Sandon Church on Monday of Colonel Arthur Jerrett, aged 77, of Grove House Farm, Sandon. The service, conducted by the Vicar, the Rev. G.F. Greenup, was followed by cremation at Stafford Crematorium.

Family members included Mr. and Mrs. S. Jerrett, son and daughter-in-law; Miss. S. Jerrett, daughter; Mr. S. Jerrett jun, Mr. Charles Jerrett, grandsons; Mr. and Mrs. H. Jerrett, btoher and sister-in-law; Mrs. W. Turnbull, Mrfs. E. Hunter, Mrs. N. Kent, sisters; Col. and Mrs. G. Trench, nephew and neice.

Bearers were Mr. E. Butler, Mr. W.G.E. Ridley, the Hon. G.H. Wilson, Mr. D. Bailey, Mr. I. Davies, Mr. M.C. Bagshawe, Mr. J. Wright, Mr. J. Mountford, Mr. W. Thomas, Mr. R.W. Lindop, members of the Sandon and District Branch of the British Legion.
