Village Club.—On Saturday evening the Vicar (the Rev. E. Sauerlaender) presented Mr. H. Bentley, on behalf of the members of the club, with a silver hot water jug and a stylo pen. Dr. Lloyd Williams spoke very highly of the work done by the Secretary for the club. Mr. Bentley, in acknowledging the gifts, said they would be a constant reminder of many pleasant hours spent with them at the club and he should always to do what he could for the good of the club.

Cricket Club.—The annual meeting of the Cricket Club was held on Saturday, the Vicar presiding. The accounts were read by the Secretary (Mr. S.J. Boswarva), and the balance-sheet showed that the receipts had been £19 10s. 7d and the expenses £17 19s., leaving a balance in hand of £1 11s. 7d. Dr. R.V. Williams was re-elected captain and Mr. T.W. Knowles vice-captain, Mr. H.G. Boswarva treasurer, and Mr. P. Titterton secretary. Votes of thanks were passed to the late Secretary and to the Vicar.
