COUNCILLORS AT CHURCH

The newly re-elected chairman of the Stone Rural Council (the Rev. C. W. Salt) attended divine service on Sunday at Sandon Church, supported by Mr. B. Tyler (chairman, Stone Urban District Council), Mr. T. Bagley (vice-chairman), Mr. C.H. Matthews (clerk, urban District Council), Mr. I.G. Gaskin (clerk, Rural Council), Mr. G.P. Goodwin, Mr. P. Mathews. The service was conducted by the Rev. C.W. Salt, and the lessons were read by Mr. I.G. Gaskin and Mr. S.J. Bridges.
