The Late Miss Ada Leese.—The death occurred at Hill Farm, Hardiwick, Sandon, on Friday, of Miss Ada Leese, aged 64. The funeral took place at Sandon Church on Monday, when the service was conducted by the Rev. W.B. Buckland (vicar). Family mourners were Mr. and Mrs. Mervyn Leese (brother and sister-in-law), Mrs. F. Leese (sister-in-law), Mr. S. Lewis (uncle), Mrs. Webb (aunt). Mr. and Mrs. W. Dowd, Mrs. J. Weaver and Miss M. Karrigan (cousins). Among others present were Mr. and Mrs. F. Talbot, Mr. and Mrs. J. Street, Mr. and Mrs. A. Barnett, Mrs. F. Penny, Mrs. D. Moorhouse, Mrs. F. Silvester, Mr. and Mrs. G. Furnival, Mrs. Pearce, Mrs. F. Woolley, Mr. and Mrs. J.D. Phillips, Mr. G.G. Buxton representing Stubbs & Co., Corn Merchants and Millers, Ltd.), Mr. A Shepherd, Mrs. W. Sargent (sen.), Mr. W. Sargent, Mr. T. Hendley, Mrs. Adderley, Mr. F. Kidd and Mr. and Mrs. A. Hine. Funeral arrangements were by Price and Stubbs, of Stone.

The gardens at Sandon Hall will be opened to the public on Sunday, June 26, from 2—7 p.m. in aid of Sandon Church fund. The rose gardens should be at their best about that time.
