Services off at Sandon Church

Foot and mouth at the farming village of Sandon, near Stafford, has forced the Vicar to cancel Christmas services at his church.

Instead the Rev. G.F. Greenup will be taking services at the parish room, but the annual midnight Communion has had to be cancelled.

Notices are being displayed in the village informing people in the change of venue. The church is on the estate of the Earl of Harrowby.
