Village Club.—A whist drive and dance was held in the Village Club on Friday, the proceeds going towards the cost of the installation of electric light.

Mrs. W. Middleton presented the prizes to Mrs. Williamson, Mrs. Hanson, Miss E. Elwood, Mr. R. Middleton, Mr. H. Till, Mr. J.T. Johnson. Mr. F. Askey, Mr. E. Green, and Mr. Roy Large were the M.C.’s. Mr. H. Harvey’s band played for dancing, and Mrs. Green had charge of the refreshments.
