Viscount Sandon’s Sons

The Hon. Dudley Ryder, elder son of Viscount Sandon and grandson of the Earl of Harrowby, has just joined the Field Artillery Regiment as a Second Lieutenant.

Lord Sandon’s second son, the Hon. John Ryder, has commenced his training as a pilot at an air training station.

The Earl of Harrowby, Lord Lieutenant of Staffordshire, and the Countess of Harrowby visited bombed towns in the Birmingham area last Friday and Monday talked to many of the inhabitants, and visited patients in hospital.

Lord and Lady Harrowby today visited the Scout and Guide Camps at Beaudesert.

Lord Harrowby recent presided at a meeting of the Sandon Church School Committee.
