LORD LIEUTENANT’S ENGAGEMENTS

After the Remembrance Day Service held in Sandon Church on Sunday, the Earl of Harrowby (Lord Lieutenant of Staffordshire) inspected the parade of members of the British Legion and gave a brief address.

Accompanied by Lady Harrowby, the Lord Lieutenant on Thursday attended a committee meeting of the Staffordshire branch of the Council for the Preservation of Rural England, of which he is president.

As chairman Lord Harrowby will today (Saturday) preside at the annual meeting of the Beaudesert Trust. Lady Harrowby will also be present.
