Fur and Feather.—Sandon village club held their first fur and feather whist drive on Friday, in the village club. Mr. Peter Holford was M.C. and the Stewards were Mr. C. Holford, Mr. D Bentley, Mr. H. Clarke, and Mr. J. Cheadle. Prize-winners were Mrs. T. Foster, Mrs. F. Cloke, Mr. J. Furber, Mrs. B. Whiting, Mrs. E. Green, Mrs. A Haycock, Miss J. Smith, Mrs. E. Rollett, Mrs. W. Illidge, Mrs. H. Fenn, Miss K. Bentley. Gentlemen: Mr. S. Mellor, Mr. E.A. Haycock, Mrs. Mellor, Mrs. R.M. Dix, Mr. E. Pilsbury, Mr. H.B. Deavall, Mr. F. Warhurst, Mr. J/ Owen.
