Village Club.—The committee, organized a whist drive and dance to augment the funds for the installation of electric light. Mrs. Bocking presented the whist prizes to: Ladies, 1, Miss Bromley; 2, Miss V. Askey; 3, Miss M. Cheadle. Gentlemen, 1, Mr. H. Lookley; 2, Mr. F. Cloke; 3, Mr. Potts. Mr. E. Green was M.C., and Mr. H. Harvey’s band played for dancing. Mrs. Holford had charge of the refreshments.
