There were charming scenes at the wedding in Sandon Church of Miss Marguerite Marie Maye (Guitou) Knowles, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T.W. Knowles of Sandon Park, and Mr. Alan Edward Stott, son of Mrs. Stott and the late Mr. T.E. Stott, of the Mount, Armitage: The four bridesmaids; the Earl and Countess of Harrowby arriving at the church; and the bride and bridegroom after the ceremony.
