27th March 1913 CS

The funeral of Susan Marie, Dowager Countess of Harrowby and widow of the fourth Earl, took place at Sandon Church, near Stafford, on Friday. The body was brought by train from Bournemouth, where death occurred, and the service was conducted by the Rev. V.E. Sauerlaender, vicar, and the Rev. L. Leader Cooper, domestic chaplain. [sic] Among the mourners were the Earl and Countess of Harrowby, the Hon. Edward and Lady Maud Ryder, the Hon. Archibald Ryder, Captain the Hon. And Mrs. Robert Ryder, Mr. Colin and Lady Angela Campbell, Viscount Sandon, Mr. Henry Ryder, and Mr. Donald Campbell.
