SANDON

Village Club.—The Annual meeting of the Sandon Village Club was held on the 22nd inst. in the Reading Room. The Earl of Harrowby presided, and amongst others present were Messrs. F.E. Copleston, T.W. Knowles, H. Bentley, T. Potts, P. Titterton, G. Kerr, and H. Askey.—The balance sheet, showing a balance in hand of over £22, was adopted. The Rev. F.E. Copleston gave a report on the year’s work. The following officials were elected:—, President Lord Sandon, the Rev. F.E. Copleston, Dr. R.V. Lloyd-Wiliams, Messrs. T.W. Knowles, H. Bentley, G. Goodwin, P. Titterton, T.W. Harris, G. Kerr, C.A. Adderley, and J.T. Johnson; hon. Treasurer, Mr. W. Middleton; hon. Secretary, Mr. J.H. Cadman; committee, Messrs. J.P. Farr, H. Askey, D. Philips, R. Walker, W. Cheadle, R. Mills, W. Askey, F. Askey, R. Dodd, F. Hine, W. Emery, E. Rollitt, and L.S. Jerrams caretaker, Mrs. E. Green.
